Abstract:
In the realm of strategic management, one of the most important subjects is the interactions between business and functional strategies. This research attempts to ascertain the connection between competitive priorities in a sample of industrial organizations and the process choice, one of the fundamental components of operations strategies. A series of recommendations and findings were drawn from the study. The need to support and allocate functional activities to them, as well as to achieve a higher degree of consistency and integration between functional activities (marketing and production) and business strategy, are the most crucial requirements for improving competitive advantages.
