Strategic Flexibility of Intensive Care Unit Physicians and its Impact on Improving Innovative behavior An exploratory study in some hospitals in the teaching city of Baghdad

Abstract:

The aim of the research is to test Impact of Strategic Flexibility in its dimensions combined (Resource Flexibility, Capabilities Flexibility, Human Capital Flexibility, Competitive Flexibility) and its impact on Improving Innovative Behavior in its dimensions (Ability to Solve Problems, Communication Capacity, Risk Taking, Encouragement and Support for Innovative), in care units concentrated in Baghdad Educational City Hospitals (Baghdad Educational City, Al-Kindi Educational, Al-Karamah Educational, Al-Yarmouk Educational, Al-Kadhimiya Educational), and based on the importance of the relationship between the research variables for society, hospitals, and intensive care units with their medical staff, the research was intended to identify the level of their importance, impact and applicability, and on this basis, the research community was (71) doctors, while the research sample was (66). On this basis, a questionnaire was prepared that included (45) items, prepared and the directions of the descriptive analytical approach based on a survey of opinions. It was processed statistically through the ready-made statistical software (SPSS V.28), depending on the statistical means (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, relative importance, correlation coefficient). Pearson, multiple linear regression), and the research concluded the most prominent result embodied in achieving strategic flexibility, a relationship of correlation and influence on creative behavior through resource flexibility, capacity flexibility, human capital flexibility, and competitive flexibility in a synergistic manner.
